Our Story: Bringing the Magic of Lapland to Liverpool

Have you ever dreamt of stepping into a winter wonderland with your family, a place where Christmas wishes shimmer in the crisp air and every corner brims with festive joy? That's the magic we strive to create at Lapland Liverpool!

Our story began in 2018, when Otterspool Adventures' Christmas Experience first opened its doors. Led by Cheryl Cosgrove, our Director, the event quickly became a cherished tradition for families in Liverpool. Cheryl, along with her husband Steven and their three children, Tom, Harry, and Maddie, hold dear the memories of magical Christmas experiences from their own childhood. Inspired by these cherished moments, Cheryl envisioned pushing the boundaries of wonder, creating something truly unforgettable.

Year after year, the event blossomed, growing more enchanting with each passing season. In 2021, Adam Durham, our Creative Director, joined the team. His creative vision helped the event reach even greater heights of imagination and enchantment. As the popularity of the event soared, Cheryl and Adam knew it was time to give it its own unique identity. During a brainstorming session, the spark ignited! "I want it to become the Lapland of Liverpool," Cheryl declared, and with that, Lapland Liverpool was born.

Just like Cheryl and Stevens own family Christmas adventures, Lapland Liverpool is built on the belief that the most precious gifts are memories made together. We pour our hearts and creativity into crafting a winter wonderland where children's eyes sparkle with delight and families forge lasting bonds amidst the festive cheer.
